Giveaway with Pop Pilates Winner!

I'm really excited to congrate our contest winner Jacqueline in Anaheim, CA for December's giveaway via Blogilates! Jacqueline will be receiving her very own Capelet body chain. And thanks for all the rest of you who responded with "what makes you feel beautiful?" Some other responses included: "Little things, coming out of the shower after a workout... getting dolled up for holidays," and "when I am strong, and dripping with sweat after a great workout."

Whether you've been indulgent or not this holiday feel free to check out Cassey's fun Pop Pilates workouts on Youtube! They have definitely been a blessing when I'm not able to get on the train to get to the gym.

NY Fashion Week Fall 2011 Wrap-Up

Watching Custo Barcelona's Fall/Winter collection coming down the runway was amazing - brilliant color combinations and unusual textures, and also featured the endlessly hip handbags of our friend Laura Vela.

Kallisti at "NY's Best Jewelry Store" Old Hollywood

This season Old Hollywood, proclaimed NY Magazine's Best Jewelry store of 2009, will carry select items from Kallisti including both our body chains and belt chains. Old Hollywood carries an eccentric mix of jewelry and vintage style clothing and accessories handpicked by fellow jewelry designer Tiffany Porter. The stores are also staffed with friendly, wonderful sales associates. Definitely worth the visit!

Look for us at both the former church-then nightclub-now marketplace Limelight Market at 676 6th Ave in Chelsea, and 99 Franklin St. Greenpoint, Brooklyn.

Act One's Debuts with Fall 2010 Collection

Act One's launches its stunning new fall collection, and making the debut is designer Sallu Wu, formerly of Milly and Helmut Lang. Her independent breakout is both sensual and classic, and very transitional. It was a treat to be on set with the photo crew when they shot this at Bennett Media Studio right before we did the Kallisti shoot with Snow Xia.

Featured in the lookbook is our "Divide" body chain worn as a body necklace.

We the People's Meet the Designers Series

We the People Fashion Collective's first Meet the Designer's series was covered by Runway Passport. Read the interview with Xing Xu of Kallisti, as well as fellow designers from Eighteenth and Nico & J from the Spring season.
